Eksplorasi.id – Aker BP has appointed Evy Glørstad as senior vice-president of exploration and reservoir, merging the exploration and reservoir business units as it expects oil prices to remain low over time, resulting in reduced activity.
The appointment comes into effect in October, at which time Ole-Johan Molvig, who currently services as senior vice-president of reservoir, will step down from the executive management team and continue with the company in an unspecified role.
Glørstad has held several managerial positions at Aker BP and has led the company’s exploration activities since July 2018.
